Overview

This course is one of the very few of its kind in the UK: a fast track to a professional qualification aimed at graduates with a non-property degree who want to be general practice surveyors and pursue a career in property development, investment and portfolio management, property valuation, the acquisition, management and disposal of real estate, or commercial and residential agency. It is also highly suitable for built environment professionals seeking membership of the valuation and surveying professions. The MSc in Real Estate Management focuses on the interaction between business and legal processes and their effect on property ownership and management, as well as the role that property plays within the context of the wider economy. The course involves an approach that integrates economic, social, fiscal, financial, legal and cultural issues as they relate to property matters.
