Providing an in-depth understanding of the principles and practice of marketing, together with a foundation of business knowledge and personal transferable skills, the BA (Hons) Marketing course has a reputation for excellence.
With its emphasis on real-world practice, it offers a deep understanding of marketing concepts and techniques and applies them to specialist environments, including international marketing, retail marketing and services marketing.
You can undertake a live marketing project, which will include the application of relevant concepts and techniques to actual client problems.
You will emerge as a highly practical marketing graduate who possesses key analytical problem-solving skills essential to a successful marketing career.

In this course you will study a broad range of modules with a marketing focus, including digital marketing, event management and the importance of a positive customer experience.
This programme has been approved and accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) for the Dual Award of the CIM Professional Diploma. The CIM Professional Diploma is a very respected professional marketing qualification. On completion of BA (Hons) Marketing, you will be eligible for the award of the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing, subject to membership of the CIM and successful completion of two CIM Professional Diploma modules. The Managing Marketing and Project Management in Marketing modules which you would need to complete are currently delivered by Molnar Business School for study on a part-time basis.
Our professional body relationships have also led to us being one of only a small number of study centres selected by CIM to offer their new Chartered Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.

Assessments
You encounter a variety of assessment methods throughout the course, including project presentations, course work portfolios and examinations.

This degree offers the maximum possible exemptions from Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) professional examinations, which you can study with Molnar Business School on a part-time basis.
Alternatively, you could go on to study the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Diploma, MA Marketing Management, MBA Marketing or MSc Management and Marketing.
